Simple Mailing List 2 Beta – Coming in September

August 23, 2011 @ 10:54 pm by NotOneBit.

Wow, I can’t believe how long it’s been between posts. I’m kind of embarrassed actually. I’ve been so busy with work (a good thing) that sadly my pet projects have sat idle while my attention has been devoted to other work. But with that said, SML2 is still alive! A beta version will soon be available for anyone wanting to test it out. Small things like images and the finishing touches will be missing but all the new functionality will be there. I’m going to post some screen shots first and then let the testing begin.

KillBot Professional 2 Now Available

January 16, 2010 @ 11:22 pm by NotOneBit.

We are proud to announce that KillBot Professional 2, an enterprise-class strength CAPTCHA solution is now available. KillBot Professional, the web’s original Flash CAPTCHA, builds upon the strengths of KillBot to create a truly dynamic form of authentication. Even stronger than the image-based version, KillBot Professional uses Flash to constantly keep the security code in some form of motion so that humans can easily read it while computer’s can’t. KillBot Professional generates over 65 MILLION codes, not counting the variations created via the various Flash effects. It’s so good it’s in use by the United States Federal Government.

In this release we have completely overhauled the logic and made security our primary focus. It’s now impossible to derive the code being generated from the KillBot source files as the logic that generates the code doesn’t exist with the Flash movie. We’ve also added many different Flash effects that obfuscate the code enough to make it virtually impossible for computers to discern the code, yet easy enough for humans to read.  Now characters can fade, rotate, move, blur, and more.

Note that with the release of KillBot Professional 2, we also have updated KillBot Professional with Audio.
